Est. July 13, 2024 — Ila-Orangun, Osun State.
On July 13, 2024, FUHSIMSA was formally established following the successful drafting and ratification of its primary governing framework — the founding document that binds every organ and officer of the Association.
The legal framework was engineered by a Constitution Drafting Committee of nine students: Senators Emmanuel Olutayo, Fawziyyah Afolabi, Israel Haastrup, Mazidat Salawu, Ore Oluwa Adewumi, Salaudeen Sofiyullah, Clement Akinjole, Victor Lawrence, and Dunamis Ayilara.
FUHSIMSA is now in its second administrative tenure, built on the impactful foundation laid by its inaugural executive council. The Association continues to advance sustainable leadership, medical innovation, and exceptional student advocacy across the FUHSI campus and the wider Osun State community.

FUHSIMSA organizes engaging programs throughout the academic year to support the growth and welfare of our medical students. From academic tutorials, seminars, and guest lectures with healthcare professionals to grassroots health outreaches across Ila-Orangun, our activities foster unity, promote health awareness, and create meaningful opportunities for students to learn and serve together.
